Lake Enforcement: No More Warnings (Taken from Tri County Times 6-24-07)
Boaters beware. There will be no more warnings for those who break the law on area lakes. Tickets will be issued, according to Genesee County Police Department Capt. Chris Swanson. A public meeting was held attended by many members of Lake associations and area riparians. The meeting was set by the Fenton Township Public Safety Committee to address safety concerns on area lakes. The committee consists of Trustee Mark Goupil, Trustee4 Tony Brown and Clerk Robert Krug.

County Sheriff Robert Pickell received tentative approval to pay for two personal watercraft to patrol area lakes. Something he said he he needs to keep the lid on wild parties on the water.
