2009 Fishing Tournament Results
This year we had another successful fishing tournament with participation of eleven lake association residents. Conditions were a bit windy so catches were down. Overall the Smallmouth and Largemouth bass were on the small side once again. But bass masters Krieve and Brancheau both brought in large bass over 18" in length. Again a big disappointment was the absence of large Pike. Only 1 legal size pike was caught. On the bright side a huge Walleye was entered this year by Chuckran measuring 24" and weighing 5 lbs. a good sign of things to come. Also of interest were the Crappie 13" and 11" (Juhl) and a Perch 12" that (Russo) brought in. Thanks for everyone who participated and made money contributions.
The money raised by the tournament will go towards fish stocking.

2010 Fish Stocking
In 2010 the Silver Marl Lake Association is collecting funding for
fish stocking activities. Jason Russo is leading this activity.
